I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, with easy access to the beach, St Ives town, and great shopping spots. The rooms offered a breathtaking view and the opportunity to enjoy all the amenities the hotel had to offer. The only downside was the lack of proper air conditioning, making the room quite hot even with a small fan.

Rooms

The room had a stunning view and was conveniently located within the hotel to access the spa, restaurant, and other facilities.
Service

The staff were all very helpful and friendly, but I did have a strange encounter with one waitress who seemed disengaged.
Location

The location couldn't be better for beach access, exploring St Ives, and enjoying walks along the South Coast West path. Just a heads up, the hotel is uphill from the station.
Dining

The dining experience was decent, although a bit basic and I had to wait around for service at the buffet. Some gluten-free options were lacking, like the sausage and black pudding.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel offers a good range of facilities, but the dining service seemed a bit understaffed.

The hotel's location is superb, ideal for accessing the beach, town, and enjoying leisurely walks along the South Coast West path. Although the room setup was not practical, and it was not fully prepared for evening guests, the service provided by the staff, especially Federico Aresti, was exceptional with a warm and helpful attitude. The dining experience was a mix of excellent views but slightly understaffed service. The facilities boasted a relaxing spa area with impressive views, while the hilltop location offered stunning vistas of St Ives.

The hotel was on the small side but nicely decorated and fully modernized. The food at the onsite restaurant was excellent. However, it was in need of a refurb.

The hotel has some charming quirks in its decor but might feel slightly overpriced for the additional room upgrade cost. The views showcased on the website are impressive, though.

Rooms
7.0
The room was small for the extra money paid for the upgrade. The decor had a slightly self-consciously quirky style.
Service
7.0
The staff members were helpful and accommodating, providing good service. Some seemed to be overworked, while others lacked attention to detail.
Location
8.0
The location offers lovely views to wake up to and is convenient for exploring St Ives town and Carbis Bay, although there can be disruptions from wedding parties. The steep hill might pose a challenge.
Dining

The breakfast, including gluten-free options, was decent, but there were reports of dirty crockery from guests. Room service brought excellent coffee the next morning.
Facilities

The facilities were standard for the hotel, and the secure nature was a bonus.

The hotel offers rooms with great views and super style and comfort, despite being very small and overpriced. The overall cleanliness is decent but could be improved. Guests may be affected by traffic noise. The welcoming service, especially from Marina, stands out, although some areas were less helpful. The location is fantastic, ideal for beach access and exploring the town of St Ives. Dining, while generally good, may have some room for improvement at busy times. The hotel boasts lovely facilities but may be perceived as pricey.
